When Atlantis perished in cataclysm, about twelve to thirteen millennia ago by your counting, the Earth and her people were plunged into a great forgetting. Those who survived found themselves in a world suddenly bereft of the guiding light that Atlantis had once been (despite its later corruption, Atlantis had preserved high wisdom from even earlier times). The timing is no accident – it coincides with humanity being ready to rediscover its heritage. During construction, there were indeed moments of drama and challenge. Not everyone in those days was pure of heart. There were power-hungry individuals, remnants of Atlantean factions, who thought to use the pyramids for personal gain or control. And as mentioned, there were dark interlopers (the reptilian beings) who attempted sabotage. Allow us to address that: In the early phase, one of the pyramids being built in another region (not Giza but elsewhere) was attacked by a group of these negative ETs. They tried to desecrate the site and instill fear in the workers. In that incident, the guardians of light intervened directly – it was one of the rare physical skirmishes. A reptilian warrior was killed in a hidden tunnel as a result (you might find it interesting that his skeleton was left there, only to be rediscovered in your modern times by surprise, validating ancient conflict).
